Crafted with precision from stainless steel wires, this adaptable mesh is perfect for both filtration and architectural purposes. It features accurate openings and outstanding resistance to corrosion, ensuring reliable performance. Its consistent and uniform weave makes it an ideal option for both visually appealing designs and demanding industrial applications.
What Is Stainless Steel Woven Wire Mesh?
Stainless steel woven wire mesh is a precision-engineered metal fabric created by interlacing individual stainless steel wires in a crisscross pattern. The weaving process can produce a variety of structures—such as plain weave, twill weave, Dutch weave,reverse weave and five-heddle weave—each offering distinct mechanical properties and filtration capabilities. This construction results in a strong, dimensionally stable, and flexible grid-like material that is both functional and aesthetically appealing.

Different Weave Types
Plain Weave
The most common and straightforward weaving method, where each warp wire passes alternately over and under each weft wire. This produces a square mesh with uniform openings, excellent dimensional stability, and good strength. Plain weave is economical to produce and ideal for general screening, sorting, and filtration applications.
Twill Weave
In this pattern, each wire passes alternately over two and under two perpendicular wires, creating a distinctive diagonal rib pattern. This allows the use of heavier wires while maintaining the same mesh count, resulting in a tighter, more robust mesh. Twill weave offers improved strength, flexibility, and finer filtration capabilities compared to plain weave.
Plain Dutch / Twill Dutch Weave
A specialized weave combining a coarse warp wire with a finer weft wire, producing a mesh with very small openings and high density. Plain Dutch weave is commonly used for medium-fine filtration, while Twill Dutch weave, with its twill structure, achieves even finer filtration and higher mechanical strength. Both are excellent for liquid and gas filtration where precision and durability are critical.
Reverse Weave
The opposite of the standard Dutch weave: the warp wires are finer and more numerous, while the weft wires are heavier and fewer. This structure offers greater mechanical strength, superior pressure resistance, and excellent flow control, making it ideal for high-pressure liquid and gas filtration.
Five-Heddle Weave
A more complex weave in which each warp wire passes alternately over four and under one weft wire. This produces a smoother, flatter surface with minimal openings, which reduces clogging and makes cleaning easier. Five-heddle weave meshes are particularly valued in applications where hygiene, easy maintenance, and a uniform surface finish are important.

Dimensional accuracy and flatness controlled to industry standards.
Test Material – First, the raw stainless steel is inspected using advanced testing instruments to verify its chemical composition and confirm it meets the required grade and performance standards.
Wire Test – The stainless steel wire is then tested for diameter accuracy, tensile strength, and surface condition to ensure it meets weaving requirements.
Warping – Qualified wires are arranged in parallel and wound onto warp beams according to the required mesh specifications, ensuring uniform tension for precise weaving.
Weaving – The warping beams are mounted on CNC weaving machines, where the wires are interlaced using the selected weave type (such as plain or twill weave) to form the mesh.
Quality Testing – The finished woven mesh undergoes strict inspection, including mesh count measurement, flatness check, and visual inspection, to eliminate defects and ensure accuracy.
Storage – After passing all quality checks, the stainless steel woven mesh is carefully rolled, packaged, and stored in clean, dry warehouses, ready for prompt delivery to customers.

Stainless steel woven wire mesh undergoes rigorous inspection and roll handling before shipment. Depending on customer needs and mesh specifications, we typically use moisture- and dust-proof multi-layer packaging:
Inner layer: Wrapped in moisture-proof kraft paper, plastic film, or bubble wrap to prevent moisture, rust, and abrasion;
Outer layer: Reinforced with woven bags, wooden boxes, or cardboard boxes to protect against impact and pressure during transportation;
Roll/Flatpack: Roll packaging is common for easy handling and unrolling; flatpacking is available for some custom sizes;
Labeling and Marking: A label indicating the material, specifications, quantity, and production batch number is affixed to the outside of the package for easy verification and warehouse management.
Transportation Methods: We offer shipping by sea, land, and air, with the optimal option selected based on the urgency of the order.
Protective Measures: During long-distance and international transport, we use pallets or wooden frames to prevent deformation of the mesh due to bumps.
Loading Requirements: Ensure the mesh is stored vertically or flat to prevent heavy loads. Avoid mixing with strong acids, bases, or corrosive materials.
Logistics Tracking: We provide full-process tracking information, allowing customers to monitor the status of their shipment at all times.
